Face-to-Face Dermatology Appointments

An initial consultation with our Dermatologist costs £267 and a follow-up consultation costs £214.

Our UK-trained Consultant dermatologist, Dr Andrew Lock, sees adults and children with a range of skin problems and is able to perform dermatological surgical procedures. He is also a dermatology consultant in the NHS. You can read more about Dr Andrew Lock here.

Please note, if any procedures are required, sometimes these can be carried out on the same day whilst others may require returning for treatment on a different day day. A second consultation fee will not be required if you are returning for a procedure only. We ensure that you receive the best quality care from our Dermatology team to achieve optimum results.

Histology

All skin lesions removed by the Dermatologist are sent to the laboratory for microscopic analysis. Histopathology investigation is the definitive test to determine whether a removed skin lesion is benign or further management is required. This assures your safety and is good clinical practice.

NB: Histology cost is included in the total cost of the procedure.

Histology test results will be shared with you via our secure patient portal within 2 weeks following your procedure.

30-minute appointment – £90

A full body mole check led by our expert Dermatology nurse to look out for any signs of skin cancer (melanoma).

During your session, our nurse will examine any moles you are concerned about as well as complete a general mole check.

If any abnormal moles are found, our nurse will be able to take images using a powerful camera. (at an additional cost of £55 per image).

These will be sent to our Consultant Dermatologist via our online dermatologist service. Your images will be reviewed, and a report will be provided.

Our nurse will provide you with a copy of the report and advise whether you need to see our dermatologist for further examination.

 

Online Dermatologist

Our online dermatologist service gives you rapid access to skincare experts from anywhere, so you never have to put your skin concerns on hold. We use remote telediagnosis to review each patients concern. This means you can get advice from a consultant dermatologist from anywhere.

Simply see one of our GPs or use our self-referral process and submit your information and details about your skin concern, including pictures. Your skin complaint will be reviewed by a consultant private dermatologist and you will receive a detailed report on your skin concern.
